I also heard the same cut the other Friday night whilst listening to Century ill in bed. Must have heard it about 20 times though – shame they don't seem to have any different cuts for High School Hits!

It sounded to me like a version of one of the cuts from the Oak 107 jingles produced by Bespoke Music Company around '03. You're right in that Radio Hartlepool did also have a nice version of this cut too, which I think was done through Devaweb. Chris?

Century FM's GMG sister brand, Real Radio, also had an interesting version of this cut for a competition 2 or 3 years ago…. “Life's a beach, and then you win one…. Real Raadio” That's certainly best version I've heard!

I haven't heard the Century cut myself, but if it is the same as the Real Radio “Life's A Beach” cut from 2003 then the jingle in question on Century is a re-sing of the travel cut from the Bespoke Kingdom FM package.

            Thanks for solving that Mark.

Just had a listen to the Kingdom FM package on the bespoke site and the cut in question is indeed based on the travel cut from that package.

I'd not actually listened to that demo before – Oak 107 was probably the first version I heard – which I now realise was a re-sing in itself, not an original. Nice to hear it with an end sing, rather than a start sing though!
