Sorry Mike.January 8, 2007 at 8:48 am #28382JAM / PAMS
MemberAs part of the Hitradio package, we recorded “extended beds” for many of the cuts. Each one was based on the sound and feel of its related short ID. It was, in essence, a loop- but it was actually played in the studio, not edited together. The idea was that a jock could talk over the bed as needed (today they'd probably call them “ramps”), and then go straight into the jingle, which would be in the same key and tempo.
The KEGL aircheck you posted is an example of one of those extended beds in use. The station must have added the jet sound effect over the bed.
Although The Eagle did get many syndicated JAM packages over the years, they never did do a custom package with us.
Hope this helps!

Thank you Mr. Wolfert. That certainly did answer my questions. Two final things, would any of those Eagle resings ever become available to us collectors? And did KTKS, KISS 106FM Dallas any have any JAM jingles produced and what packages were they?
Many thanks and keep up the great work!
Rich
p.s. The new Fresh jingles are a refreshing new twist to the norm.
