                        Hi Tony and Welcome. I know I’ve stumbled on GEM AM in the past. Now I have another reason to look it up!

                        I love that jingle. JAM did a great job, as usual, and even on the acapella the bass comes through to where it gives me goosebumps! What a conglomeration of talent expertise ranging from the singers to the musicians right down to the engineering and mastering!

                            It’s GREAT to see people under 40 who (like Tony) truly appreciate great jingles and will carry on ‘waving the flag’ for the kind of radio stations that know how to use them! Radio NEEDS this enthusiasm and dedication.

                                      Tomorrow I return to my evening show called “Playing all the Hits” on Solid Gold GEM AM after a couple of weeks away; and to celebrate, there’s a new jingle or two. This one I love – from JAM’s “Closer to the Music.”

                                      As a young teenager, I used to listen to Mark Goodier count down the “1FM Megahits top 10” every night at 6:30pm using this jingle 20 odd years ago. Now it has been sung for me! Yay!

                                      Amazing job by JAM – and for the one cut, about 6-7 versions! Love it, hope you enjoy as much as I do! As previously mentioned on the forum, Len has also had a cut from the same package for the station done – I’ll be playing that too!

                                            Different times!
                                            Back in the day, I can’t say that I warmed to this package.
                                            Yet now it sounds GREAT! (mind you In my old age I can now cope with sprouts :-)

                                              Great jingle – painful to listen to.

                                              Was it recorded from your speakers and then uploaded?
                                              I don’t think it does the layering and quality that go into the cuts I felt like I was sitting next to you on the tube listening through your headphones bleed.

                                                  I can only assume Soundcloud was playing up because I listened three times.
