      I just thought I’d share this with the group as I had to grab the TV remote and rewind. I recognized the tune from the ’80s. I think it’s the old GB Radio theme…

        It is! Well spotted there. Probably taken from the Carlin Music library where David Arnold Music’s jingles are on. I did hear one of one of his jingles on David Letterman’s programmes once as well as Have I got News for You

          Those Carlin library disks do tend to have items categorized into “groups” suggesting what they might be usable for – and one definate category is – gameshows! So to use that near-30-year-old track in a pastiche “gameshow” advert makes a bit of twisted sense!
