Was the ’96 Kiss FM’ version on the demo real or a fake station name just to demonstrate versatility? If it’s real, that’s another re-sing.

Just found an aircheck online with these jingles on air at 96 Kiss FM Nashville.

Mostly ads, but there are a few #musicnow cuts in this aircheck, possibly the one that Spoons found http://airchexx.com/2013/07/11/tony-cox-on-wzks-96-kiss-nashville-july-1984/ OK, we’ve digressed from the topic (Blackburn’s jingles), but everyone agrees that they’re sensational, and there’s not much more to say about them until he plays the remaining new cut.

Did I notice the “last” new JAM Cut last weekend was from an old KIIS Package?
Also did I hear a re-sing of the “One Billion Watts” Jingle……..Or was it all a dream!!!

Radio Two has two billion watts of music power apparently

The vocals on the new Radio 2 re-sings of Class Action and Pro Mod cuts seem slightly more Anglisised in pronounciation to me than their earlier Radio 1 versions?

Fresh KIIS cut 3 is where the last one hails from.

                    Eh? are you sure?
If its the cut I think it is, its probably one of the least exciting cuts JAM have ever made (with apologies to JMW).

Yes, I’ve listened back to the demo. They’ve probably based it on the 1986 resing Radio 1 had for “Chartbusters”.
There were some better cuts in that package, mind.

Has anybody got these in the clear that they could post please?
I would of thought that they would of been “show-cased” by now on the JAM or even S2Blue site as they’re so damn good! ;-)

Still nothing sadly Pete. Might be time for S2Blue to revitalise their JAM and PAMS pages. I’m not sure if it’s my PC but no JAM plays at all on the Steve England page. If I was them I’d combine the whole lot onto the S2Blue website to make it easier? :)
