What's your all-time favorite country jingle packages? Here's my list, sorry if this might be too long:

      Reelworld:

KYGO 1998: This is one of Reelworld's classics!
KNIX: When I first heard this package while DXing WJVL Janesville, WI, I was blown away on how different it sounds (at least compared to other packages I have heard before). Manly because of the female-leaning vocals and the upbeat borderline AC presentantion.
KASE 101: IMO this and KNIX would go great together
WCTO 2002: Same as KNIX, but even more and without the AC
KNCI: a very classy package, would work well on a AC station.
      WKDF

      TMwhatever:

Star-Spangeled Country: A CLASSIC!!! These and other set the standard for today's packages! The TOH (cut 13) is my favorite out of these!
Texas Country: wish TM would bring it back
Philly's Country: loved this package since I first heard it on WBWI West Bend, WI
      KSCS Seven
      Hot Country 1 and 2
      Young Country
Wide Open Country – forgot this one, miss this on WMIL

      JAM :

      It's Your Country
      Quick-Qs
Country Proud: brings a traditional sound in today's CHR-type country world. Classy.
Breakthrough (while it wasn't exactly country, it fitted in well at country stations in the 90s, same as Quick Qs)

      Thompson

      Cleveland's Country
K102K and the other K102 packages they've done.
      Hot N' Cool
the K92FM trio: One of the most popular set of packages in the 90's, heard it on WMIL)
      The Wolf/Wolf Pack

Honorable mentions: Freedom, Rough and Ready (TM) Country 92.9, the KYGO packs (JAM) Nashville Package (Ben Freedman) KMPS, KYGO 2002 (Reelworld), JRfm, 100.7 the Wolf with Dallas vocals) (IQBeats)

I choose without any hesitation “Freedom” (TM), followed by “It's Your Country” (JAM).

Aren't they beautiful these country jingles when they actually sound country?
A category that is among endangered “species” these days…

Here is a SuperMix with a “country flavour”, baked earlier this summer (just in case you missed it):

            Here is my list.

            Reelworld

ReelWorld One: Sounds very well on country stations in the US mostly KNCI and KBEQ.

KILT 06: While it used the KNIX logo, it was still one of my favorite packages.

The Cat Country family of packages WCTO 02, 06, 09: The 09 package is the updating RW One service. a classic!

The Wolf 09 Seattle: it has a different sound than the original package.

            Jam

            Country proud
            Right now

            TM Studios

YoungGuns: a great package for a great station. Vineyard did a great job with this service!

Driving country: it rocks, and would be perfect for a rocken country station.

ReelWorld: KYGO 98 and KNCI 06
JAM: There are great cuts from every JAM country package. Country Proud is great all the way through. The “traditional” cuts in New Tradition are some of my favorites, but the others don't do anything for me. I also like Right Now.
TM: Texas Country, Wide Open Country, Across the Country.
              Thompson: K102K and Today's Country
              615: 650 WSM Pacakge

                New Tradition.
                Great stuff.
I had a local fm station with the package and it neat.
Too bad they threw away the master cd.
Maybe I ought to start going through there trash.

To Jeremy… I never heard 615 Music doing a country package for WSM. Could you send me in the right direction? It's not on their website.

TM still do great country stuff. Pride and Nashville's Ledgand come to mind.

Wow… what good country imaging from 615 Music!

Just goes to show you… you can't find better packages than that. Unless it's Jam or TM.

I heard New tradition but not the rest of the KYGO packages from Jam except for the ones that are on their site.

Hmmm… one of my favorite subjects, which might be a bad thing if you don't like reading short stories!

Back in 2007 I made a montage of my “Top 10” favorite country cuts. I never posted the thing, so I might as well now.
                          http://www.texasradiocollection.com/CountryTop10.mp3

But, since it's been a while, I made a new/revised version. There are a few carry-overs (I guess that means I must really like those).
                          http://www.texasradiocollection.com/CountryTop10new3.mp3
I had my fave RW-One cut at #10, but after reading the posts about 615's packs (and finding the files I had saved from their site), I felt like I had to include one of my faves from those packages at #10 instead.

                          Some of my favorite packages:
                          ReelWorld:
A pack I haven't seen listed yet & is one of my faves is WKDF. It just sounds different from the rest of their packages (a little less AC-ish). KASE I think set the stage for the newer gen stuff, and KNIX took it all to a new level. RW-One started off a little slow IMO, but the updates keep getting better & better.

                          Jones TM Century Studios:
Let's see, I like Ridin' With KSCS, Ridin' Again, Young Country 2, and Wide Open Country mainly because they've all been used locally & I've grown up with them all. Also must put KSCS Seven, Texas Country & Pride (love the group sound) among the best. I absolutely loved the starter pack for YoungGuns, though the updates don't seem to have quite the same punch.

                          Thompson Creative:
Consistently great country packages. I like just about all of the KEEY series, specifically K102K, Today's Country and the newest one (recently re-named K102 Now!, looking at their site(?)). Y100 Country is a great, more traditional-sounding pack.

                          JAM:
Hate to admit it, but since I really didn't get in to collecting until about 2000/02 or there abouts, I never heard much of JAM's material used on actual stations. I've grown up on TM & ReelWorld, so JAM's stuff just sounds different (not bad!), for a lack of a better word. But, I can agree with others on here in saying that Country Proud sounds good, even with today's music, and Right Now has my fave cut, so it's got to rank up there!

                          Everybody Else:
As mentioned, the 615 packs for WSM are great, simply because they're simple & traditional, with a nice group as well. Another pack with a good ole pickin' sound is GMI's Custom Country package. The demo isn't listed on their site anymore, so I uploaded it here: http://www.texasradiocollection.com/Custom_Country.wav

What a great thread this is.

I have long been a fan of Country Music/Radio, and have in fact presented shows featuring “Music Row's” biggest stars. Although, I have never used great jingles like these sadly, KYGO and K92FM (Orlando) have to be my all time favs.

Cheryl and the gorgeous Annagrey take a bow ladies!.

Great post! Some cuts I forgot about in those montages. The Ben Freedman WYRK cut is one of my favorites as well. I also really like the weather cut from that package. I've attached recordings of those of KBEQ from 5 or so years ago.

Also, the “what's going on” cut from Right Now: I knew that as the “Weathervane” cut on KFDI before I ever knew who JAM was. So, definitely one of my favorites. I've attached a recording of that cut also. Weather was a big deal on KFDI- enough so to use the jingle twice- on both sides of a commercial.

There's some great packages mentioned. So it's quite fun when some country stations cause heart attacks to some of it's listeners by playing packages that are not country sounding.

WKLB immediately springs to mind over the years.(TMs Boston Country & GMIs Hot Boston/Hot Boston 2.0)as well as KTYS (TMs Twister a.k.a. 99 1/2 WZPL) a few years ago.

Love this cut, partly because it's so similar to that fantastic solo in the middle of the JAM Song and the station logo is so beautiful.

…Don't forget about the new “Vineyard Sound Studios” stuff. (YoungGuns, Kissville, etc). Gotta get that in!

Jeremy, the WYRK cut still remains one of my favorites, but with the newer top 10 montage I really tried to avoid including specialty cuts like TOH & weather, although the Right Now cut technically falls in that category. Problem is I like the way most TOH cuts stand out anyway, so if I included those, probably all of the top 10 would be TOH's or weather beds. I could easily come up with a top 10 list for TOHs and top 10 weather beds if I had enough time.

The WYRK top of hour & weather cut would probably both make the respective top 10's, along with the TOHs for KASE, YoungGuns, Texas Country, KNIX, maybe KNCI, and for some reason I really like the TOH for Ridin' Again… something about the way “Fort Worth/Dallas” is sung.
                                              http://www.texasradiocollection.com/KSCSraTOH.mp3

As for weather, it's hard to argue with KYGO '98. I also like the wx for WKDF, K102K & Today's Country (K102), TX Country again… Ugh, I'm tired of thinkin', I'm sure there's plenty more I'm not thinking of right now.
