Singer/songwriter DAN SEALS passed away on WEDNESDAY night at 61. SEALS, who was referred to as ENGLAND DAN in the 1970's, died after a lengthy battle with cancer.
In addition to his well known career, Seals was also one of the vocalist on TM's WHERE YOUR FRIENDS ARE.

Nor me. I loved the England Dan and John Ford Coley stuff: kind of sums up a lot of the radio I enjoyed listening to when growing up. TC – hope there aren't too many more obituary posts from you! I'll soon be checking JingleMad to see whether I'm still alive!

For those who may not know, Jim Seals of Seals and Crofts is Dan's Brother.

That is so so sad, I'm a huge lover of Dan's music, I did know he was pretty ill, but this is a huge loss.
It's my first day back after a month in the states and I'll play a Dan Seals song on the show tonight, and there are so many great ones to choose from.
