While looking up information on JAM client KHTK Sacramento, I discovered a recording of radio veteran Don Geronimo’s talk show from October 2011. Apparently he’s “one of us”, and he spends nearly 15 minutes discussing and playing jingles. This includes some Class Action resings for KHTK and various jingles from Don’s collection. He also plays the clip of David Letterman using jingles on his NBC show from the 80’s, and a clip of a Johnny Mann jingle session for KRTH, both of which can be found on YouTube. A very nice find!
Very interesting; must have been a pretty relaxed show/station to be able to go on about this without interruption, I could not see this on any talk station I’ve ever heard lately

Hearing the tail end of the Geronimo B96 clip, I will put this request out again. Hope someone bites! I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to hear a montage of different stations’ versions of the TM Airpower Plus top hour jingle. The city sing has always haunted me. It’s one of my favorite cuts of the 1980’s! (And, that’s saying a lot from this die-hard JAM fan.)

I would’ve love to be one of his guests! he’s a die hard dallas fan! if anyone knows don’s e-mail or if he’s got a facebook page, tell him he’s welcome to use any montages I do, and call me if he ever does anything like that! i’d love to be a guest!
I’m going to say the same thing that I posted on mjb’s clip at around 2:15, but HO……LY……CRAP!!! I can’t believe Don Geronimo used My Old VOS-FM Jingle on HIS Show! I don’t know whether to feel honored or slightly embarrassed, but WOW!
