I just paid my weekly visit to http://www.devaweb.co.uk/
Is it just me or is the site out of line and half the menu missing?
I cant seem to click on some of the links as they are half of the page as
it seems to have expanded really badly with the news collumn taking over.Anyone else have this problem? I did drop them an email, will see if it goes right soon.

This is how Chris has set up the site but note the 2 Scroll BARS
Both at the right hand side of the Screen and the bottom
If you want to see all of the frame without the scroll bars the 2 options are
Option 1
Go to Windows Control Panel
Click On Display
Click on the Settings Tab
You can then adjust the Screen Resolution to fit
The 2nd option (if you have got plenty of cash to spare 😆 )
is Buy a larger monitor !
As they say “The Choice is Yours”
(The lowest cost to you is Option One as you could always buy some Jingles with the cash you have saved)
😉 😉 😉 😉 😉 😉
February 3, 2006 at 4:21 pm #19467FashionFunkor they could get rid of the news collumn or build it in the standard viewing of 800 x 600
February 3, 2006 at 8:53 pm #19473DavidHemsley800 x 600 is no longer “standard”
February 4, 2006 at 1:26 am #19479FashionFunkit is in the web design world check with design agencies such as 4squared and gsb web design!
February 4, 2006 at 8:04 am #19483DevawebMemberWe’ve had the same design for around 4 years now, and this is the first time anyone’s complained about the size.
We’ve had a lot of compliments about the design which, although it’s changed subtley now and then, has always been quite popular. So popular in fact that once, somebody downloaded the entire site and relaunched it as their own, just changing a few essential details!
However thanks for the feedback, I’ll mention it to the design team that are working on ideas for an updated site.

Something else you might want to note to is that the site doesn’t not work in Firefox. I had a look at the source code, and it’s just dodgy coding on the frames.
Unfortunately, for someone like me who is a jingle addict and a web design guru, I find it a pain when a good jingle site won’t meet web standards and messes up in Firefox.
March 2, 2006 at 3:34 am #19817coolnthas anybody thought of a web awards for jingle companies and collectors websites?
