      Cute! ;)
      Now I know how my pet (Nemo) feels every time he senses the fish net entering his tank
      Merry Christmas @martinlester, & thanks for all the jingle shares over the years!

            Not quite a “Christmas Jingle Montage”, but a “very topical” p*ss-t&ke” that even the “B&st&rd Brothers”
            would no doubt have approved of!

                Great parody Ian (or is that Mr. Lester, I am as always, a tad confused) With a touch of editing, perfectly enjoyable for the USA market that would not ‘get’ certain references. Well done sir, I appreciate such nonsense as I tend to produce such!

                  The Christmas CD parody link posted by me, after my daughter picked up on it out there in FacePalm-land :^)

                  Most of the “re-sung tracks” indeed are send-ups of the tired burnt-out “Hey, But Its Nice Christmas music!”
                  that regales UK radio and very shopping centre/mall and individual shops ad nauseum every year.

                  I’m sure that USA radio, shops etc, ave their own equivalent cringe-worthY repetitive Xmas junk.

                  Mrs J and I were at the shops yesterday, and pleasantly surprised to find only ONE place playing
                  “that same bluddy CD” over & over again…). Hardly any (Zzzzzzzzz) “Chris-massy gunge” at all.

                  One shop had a montaged upbeat late-50s/early 60s Rock’n’Roll thing going.

                  Another had the Beatles-sound-a-likes “Stars on 45” (are they possibly Netherlands session people?)
                  – haven’t heard that in over 30 years (must have the vinyl here somewhere…)

                  Mrs J said one shop had “heavy rock” (!?!) which she though might even “scare off” customers!

                  Generally all a bit cheerier and fresher all round – something everyone needs this Christmas
                  o0{:^))}}{

                  (PS – as I always point out its IAIN not IAN – IAN was my Dad. I’m not a spelling mistake!
                  :^)
