Little bit of fun, who reckons they know who made these?

No prizes, other than the smug satisfaction if you know the correct answer :-)

Apart from maybe a certain “AJ” when he was younger(?), they sound a damn sight better
vocally than some UK and US efforts these days!

Yes certainly better than some of the present day offerings….
Where have I heard that track before :-?
(Bastard Brothers spoof or something?) :-))

The second track was used at Radio Solent in the early 80s as I have a copy on an old cassette (somewhere lol) from their on air carts

Was the first track originally sung by Tapetrix (Alfasound?) for Piccadilly Radio?

I’m sure the first bed ia a JAM track? Signal used it once to promote their roadshows. Nice vocals though. David Arnold’s Radio Cambridgeshire also with great harmonies. AJ and David Arnold, along with Top Format of course, knew how to capture a truly close, deep vocal arrangement

It’s a great track, but it doesn’t quite have the JAM sound to me.
Like Iain, the male vocal does sound very AJ though.

Now you mentioned it, I think you could well be right. My parents were Solent listeners so I invariably heard a lot of their output as a kid. That track does sound familiar.

Hmmmmm. I hear bits of Alfasound, bits of AJ, but am stumped. Great to hear them though.

When you going to reveal the answer Jonno?
