Good lord, that takes me back David.
I remember buying the cd from Alfasound when it was released & the shear exitement when it arrived in the post all those years ago.
My first ever package on disc.
Thanks for making a happy man very old Lol. Love it.
Quite strange listening to that, certainly very different from the Q103 I know now. Just a note for your station biography that 97.4 isn't only in Newmarket, as they have a new transmitter in Haverhill also on 97.4.
To David from David ! – many thanks for posting this package, very decent of you, ta.
Barras
PS – thanks for the mention on your website too, love the pics of Rob T & Wixy ! (I`m looking old in mine) you`ve got some class jingles on-line David and superb analysis of British radio and British radio ID jingles.
Why do I look uncannily like John Cleese after too much bevvy though?!
Great Site – especially for INFO about Classic ILR, and also for samples ( ;^) ) of excellent UK jingle
packages of the 80s and 90s. And the “patter” (or “patois” or “craich” depending where you come from) is achingly funny!)
Mike – I think you might find that the audio in its current form at least may have been “removed by
request” by the very responsible and professionally-minded Site Owner to help protect the legitimate
interests of the Copyright Holder…
