Does anyone know who made the recent clyde jingles?

They sound pretty amateur!!

For those not quite familiar with the Glaswegian accent,
the pronounciation of “Glasgow” on these jingles
is somewhat “ploom-in-the-mooth” Bearsden or Milngavie
(“Mull-guy”!) rather than Pollok, “Drummy” or Saracen Street!

Has anyone in the area or on FREEVIEW noticed that they have dropped the “glasgow” at the end of the sing recently?

It was after the PD left who instigated the “clyde one Glasgow” strapline across the station.
How they can go from a custom Reelworld package to a few cuts from a pretty small unknown pretty poor sounding package I have no idea. I did hear that no everyone at the station is so keen on them either.

That must sound very odd given the key of the “Clyde One” vocal.

Shame really – I think it's important to sing the city. I know they techincally cover more than Glasgow, however it could all be classed as “Greater Glasgow” – so why drop it?

Reminds me of when 96.3 Radio Aire FM reverted back to 96.3 Aire FM in 1995 and suddenly edited the “Radio” out of their TM Century Jingles (New PLJ / Dallas Power and a couple of others).
