MemberHere’s a selection of AJ Production City FM jingles that I recorded off air back in 1988. Listen out for the “You’ve got the winning number/team” variants that appear. Superb stuff indeed. City FM broadcast from Liverpool, Merseyside, England, UK.

MemberDoes AJ sell the full packages for collectors? I’d love to pick up the City FM, West Sound and Power FM ones.

I don’t think so but I would pay good money for a dub of his Virgin Radio package – so many clever bits and beds – AJ are you there ?

MemberHe’s tempted us for years with doing some collectors collections but I think he’s always so busy its something that hes not been able to get round to. Maybe one day

Hi yes I am here…now anyway. Thanks for posting that montage as I never heard the jingles on air. I remember meeting with (and I hope I’ve remembered his name correctly) Tony Ingham (??) up in Liverpool to talk about the jingles…he was a nice, funny guy. I Don’t remember recording them though and as I have explained before on other threads elsewhere, Dats and masters got lost and in fact, stolen!! The cops were involved as my locker in my gym at the time got broken in to and they left me with one shoe and a t-shirt 😮
and stole my backpack with the Dats in them…I was highly p’d off. We’ve been really busy these last few weeks with new stuff on various other projects but we are making new stuff and have a classics re-sing session coming up around end of March. And finally yes, the collectors montages are way overdue. “Maybe one day”. Thanks, AJ
