Christmas comes but once a year – starting in September!

      Well, I’d done this montage of Christmas jingles, with the
      intention of posting it as a “Jingle Advent Calendar” on
      December 1st, but jr2479’s beaten me to it with his
      excellent montage on USA Thanksgiving Day!

      So instead, its now up on Anorak’s Corner as
      “Midwinter Montage-01” (well, we can’t call it a
      “Christmas” montage in case we offend the Upper
      Amazonian Blue Tree-Frog Worshippers now, can we 😆

      Some cuts you’ll all know (apologies to those well-known
      collectors whose cuts I may have inadvertantly(!)
      lifted,) and others maybe will not be quite so familiar!

        The Trent FM cut is one of my all time fave jingles as sickly as it is 😆

          I’d actually tried to use your 2 “Christmas on () FM” cuts which I’d got
          from your website 3 years ago(!), and I tried to be a smart-**** by
          pan-potting the “Trent” part of the vocal to the LH channel at the
          appropriate point, and the “Sound” bit to the RH channel – but it
          sounded a bit naff – anyway, everyone likes hearing variants on the
          “Best Show” package so it went in instead.

          At least messing about with all this digital audio editing software is a
          lot easier than the twin-track reel-to-reel mixing & cut-&-splice stuff
          old codgers like me used to have to do! :)

              I wonder if ******, ****, ****-*, ******, *-*, or
              any of the other well-known montage experts are
              about to unleash their seasonal offerings upon us at
              almost any moment! And have I got time to sneak
              in another one before the Tesco Christmas cakes
              are beyond their sell-buy-date (er, 30th November
              it seems!)

                I’ve something on the way.. going to hold it off for a while yet though.
