While JM was down recently I noticed that Ignite had uploaded their new AC package for Central Lancashire's Central Radio (now closed and an extension of The Bee).

I was wondering who produced them as I tuned into Central during their last few days to see if their excellent Madison Avenue re-sings from TM were still on air. They weren't but these unknown jingles were. What a shame they didn't get much of an airing, as I'm sure only a month or so before the TM cuts were on air.
Any thoughts on the package? I think Theme D is my favourite cut.

Hi Rob,
probably Chris Stevens, as Chris owns Ignite, here`s a quote from a recent thread about Ignite…
"A brand new radio ID jingle company launched this week, promising a boutique sound and personal service for their clients. Ignite Jingles, part of Devaweb, is based near Manchester UK, and has been established by jingle producer Chris Stevens."July 31, 2011 at 9:03 am #79840RjMThanks David, though I actually meant that I was wondering who had produced it before I discovered the package on Ignite's site. When hearing the package on-air it didn't carry any tell-tale signs of any of the other companies.
July 31, 2011 at 9:21 am #79841ratnobMemberReally good to hear new jingles being produced by someone who is himself such a jingle fan, who works in contemporary radio, who's musical, and who's worked at TM for several years. The cuts sound great.
July 31, 2011 at 4:35 pm #79845Good Time OldieHave to agree with ratnob – Chris knows how to do things and I wish him all the best with his latest project.
The jingles are great – sounds like Kim C and Chris M on vocals to me (but what do I know) I also thought I could make out the old Yellowbelly jingle leg-end Steve Butler on Theme 1 (especially on the "ooooo"), but I'm guessing it wasn't him.
Great job Chris – will you be doing Personal cuts soon?
