      HI lads & lasses,

      I have been trying to upload some new Capital Stuff for ages into the Download section and just can’t seem to do it. Mind you, me and technology go together like…..Tony and Gordon. Anyway, have put together a little montage of new Capital stuff, jingles (soniicdesign), sweepers and promos etc, and you can get it here (apparently, lol)

      Hope this works, if anyone wants any of it clean, then let me know. I will post more assuming this works so please let me know.

        Thanks for posting this Capital montage jamiedj, enjoyed listening to to that. I know you mentioned “sonic design” – are the sung-jingles by them too ?

                I’m sorry but I find those jingles and liners dull as hell!

                I’ve been listening to Capital as I’m now working in central London and I find it SO lifeless.

                I’ll be very interested to see the RAJAR Q1 figures when they’re released next month to see how the station has done. I’ll bet you this catctus on my desk their listeners will have gone down

                            LOL.

                            For anyone who remembers the Allan’s Taxi’s adverts on Mercia Sound, trust me half an advert would have been less annoying !!! :)

                            We got the number the first time .. It’s 555555 .. You don’t need to repeat it!!! :) :) :) :)

                            going back to Capital, maybe they got confused and halved the budget for jingles as well ! :)

                                                Hmmmm if they had to go French I would have gone freeway !!!

                                                So a woman warbling Capital a few times, the bloke off eastenders, some beds as dull at ditchwater and a few beeps make up the Imaging arsenal of the mighty Capital Radio London. Its hardly creative, memorable or to be honest particularly interesting. It has to be some of the worst imaging in the stations history.

                                                I really like the stuff that Wise Buddah did for Capital and across the other stations really nice vocals and jingles – They should have gone to wise!!
