I loved all the City FM jingles (resings) AJ did. The vocals on “Across the North West, 96.7, we play your favourites, City FM” are awesome.

Mike, a LOT there “new to me” even!

On the X-HDD I’ve found so far some West Sound, Westward, Whitechapel,
Power FM, and even Spire FM (The line “From Wood’s In Salisbury” once heard,
on Isle of Wight holidays years ago, never forgotten! Jingles DO “work” !).

Also what appears to be an actual studio session for Chelmer FM.

Mostly in scabby poor quality MP3 rips from long ago, but nice to listen to again.

I had a dig around for old stuff this morning – found the package for Hit FM (Power FM resings, mostly), plus some Phil and Bill from Chiltern Radio. Def over 30 years old, I’d say.

I’ve got a vague memory of hearing a jingle for AJ as a jock on Chiltern, mid-late ’80s. How about an aircheck, AJ?

Hey rak! I actually had a cut done for me in Dallas by CPMG/PAMS . It was the Merry go go round cut. ..I will post that tonight . Nicely sung by the 5 big singers there. Abbey, Kay, Brian, Dan and Jim!! I absolutely hated being an on air jock so this made it more worthwhile . And NO! ! No aircheck of me I was awful.
