Hi all,
Hope you’re all well. I’m just wondering if anyone could give me some advice?
I’m wanting to purchase a Jingle from JAM for personal enjoyment. The cut in question is ”Warp Factor” Cut 14 (The DJ Cut).. I’m just wondering if anyone has purchased from JAM and especially anyone who has had a re-sing of this Jingle so i can listen to them?
Also, the Group Shouts, Is it limited to one word or can i have multiple phrases shouted in the one track?
Hope someone can guide me through this.
Kindest Regards,
Corey.

I had the Warp Factor cut done a couple years ago, Jon & the folks at JAM did a GREAT job on the cut! Here’s my Sound Cloud link to listen..

Everything is explained very clearly on the JAM website, along with the prices.
http://www.jingles.com/jam/fans/jampersonal.htmlAnd if you play the “Hear Sample” demo half-way down the page, you’ll hear … er, quite a few
cuts for members of this Forum :^)As for wording/lyrics etc – in your enquiry email you tell Jon what you would like, and he helps
you though whether it will “work” with the chosen track(s).Paul – if its a jingle once used by Radio Two – they had thousands – BUT if you even send Jon
an audio clip (even poor quality) of one you want, they can identify it and advise if its available
for re-sing.If wanting shout inserts, or sonovox added, Jon always gives a full quote for the work involved.
(…and of course, there’s the PAMS back-catalogue as well…

The Personal Cuts service is “on top” of JAM’s broadcast client services, which are understandably the priority,
so don’t be alarmed if there’s a slight delay before Jon can get a chance to get back to you – he will :^)July 21, 2016 at 7:22 am #100478nleiboI can attest (since I, too purchased some “personal cuts”) that Jon will get back to you either by email or phone (assuming you included both). Aside from having a recording of what you want sung, it would help to know what Jingle Package/Series it originated in, so Jon can more expediently understand your jingle.

Warp Factor, Cut #14 apparently.

For those not familiar with jingle producers, or indeed new-ish to the world of jingle collecting
generally, JAM are not a sub-sub-sub-division of some ginormous conglomerate – they’re literally
a long-established “family firm” but utterly professional – yet the quality of service is as direct,
personal and friendly as can be imagined. And as demonstrated on Richie’s montage – you don’t just get “a cut” – you get a bundle
of variant mixouts and the vocal-only acapella mix – which is why its more worthwhile to
order a “proper” full sung jingle (even with added shouts or sono”) than going for a plain
shout or plain acapella.July 21, 2016 at 8:50 pm #100482radiocitybillMemberAlthough if you have a tight budget you can certainly be creative with shouts, chants, whispers, etc. I ordered some shouts from JAM for a high school internet radio station I was building and Jon took care of us for what little budget we had (actually, I funded the purchase myself as we had -zero- budget, even for equipment which I depended on donations of old, legacy gear). Jon even surprised my with an unexpected bonus which his donated himself.
It pains me that our district’s administration let the project whither away, as the students never got a chance to go online and the personal sweat I put into the project was all for nothing.
Also, to answer Corey’s other query, the group shouts I got for the school station were phrases like “Home of the Senators” so you’re not locked into a single word. You could get a jock name, slogan or something similar shouted. I can’t tell you if there’s there’s a word or time limit per shout, though.
It will be awhile but I plan on getting some personals done when I get some extra money for them.
July 23, 2016 at 3:37 am #100486michiMemberJAM group shouts are $75 per cut, not per word. The longest group shout I had done by JAM was quite a few years ago with the wording “The Talk of New England – REC 617” and they did it for the normal rate.
Jon is (usually) pretty good about getting back and as long as you are patient to wait, you will be rewarded with good quality work. (tempus consumit res creare) JAM does not cut corners with the personal cuts. Give Jon a chance and I am sure he can work something good for you.
July 23, 2016 at 10:52 pm #100489scotronMemberAs it says above the entrance to Jam. “Tempus Consumit Res Creare” The latin words mean. ‘It Takes Time To Make Things’ You will be rewarded with an excellent product.
