October 26, 2009 at 10:36 am #70819mumossI have to say, I'm not a fan of a lot of modern jingle packages, but even I rather like some of Brandy's stuff. It seems to come the closest to capturing what a lot of today's pop music is like.
I just wish there was more variety in the lyrics.
October 26, 2009 at 5:21 pm #70824barrydavidallanbdaBuT why cant English Jingle firms like Bespoke see how these jingles work..Great vocals , great music for all genres.. Bespoke its the same singing voice and reverb..people want a great product on air ..I think bespoke selling their jingles to Hospital and RSL's at 99 quid makes the product “cheap”
I hope a uk station buys a brandy package…but I bet its a Hospital station that gets there first
October 26, 2009 at 8:51 pm #70832IainJohnstonMemberThere's about as much chance of a “big name” UK station or conglomerate buying Brandy as there is of them buying from Freeway Paris.
They only have eyes now for “trendy” US “hip” jingles or UK-made clones thereof; the quality of “the product” no longer matters, only the revenue from national advertising sales.
At least some of the smaller stations / small groups still seem to care about what they put on air.
