That’s the One ~ I forgot I’d put it on SoundCloud! I think that’s ‘as high as you can go’ but as you say a definitive answer from Dallas is needed I know that to use it straight into music you need a song with a full powerful intro – Mama Cass ‘It’s Getting Better’ !?

OK, here goes. The last note of that cut from “Follow The Leader” is a high “A” (one ledger line above the staff). Yes, it’s higher than usual for a jingle, but certainly not the highest note that a good soprano lead singer can reach. In fact, I can think of several vintage PAMS cuts that went even higher. Having the girls and guys near the top of their range can create a lot of energy, but it’s an operatic effect that must be used sparingly… if at all!

April 30, 2014 at 12:35 pm #94210michiMemberI remember my visit to JAM in 1991. On the same trip, I also visited TM and Thompson Creative (when they were at 4631 Insurance Ln. after JAM moved out). At JAM, I had a couple of cuts done for the old REC Telephone Entertainment lines. I drove all the way back from from Dallas to Los Angeles listening to that tape.

Hey Michi…
Cut #11 is actually from PAMS Series 30 “The ‘N Set” originally featuring vocals by The Gold Pussycats.
May 2, 2014 at 8:25 am #94224IainJohnstonMichi, that is the first time I’ve ever heard a jingle sung with a “ham radio” amateur call-sign!
Were you actually able lto legitimately TX that?

Hang out bunting …
Cue royal fanfares …Yes, here it is …
My brief and not-exactly-made-by-Steven-Spielberg video production of my visit to Dallas and specifically to the studios of JAM Creative Productions in February 2014.
I made it as a jingle collector of some 35 years on behalf of all JingleMadders, past and present, who share this curious fascination.
I hope you enjoy it.
It goes without saying, I think: thanks to JMW for being so welcoming, so open, so entertaining:
