Sad news:
Big Ron O Brien afternoon drive on WOGL FM has passed away.
He been off since March 08.
Cause of death was the flu which turned into pneumonia.

Heaven just gained it's newest pm-drive jock. May he rest in peace.

There sure are lots of Big Ron airchecks around, for what it's worth – back when Ron used to come over my place & I got him into first porting his tapes to cdr, these were some airchecks he brought by from his personal collection to share with me.

They very well may be Beaver, probably passed on by Ron to any number of folks he knew. I can only tell you that when he dubbed those off a few reels he brought over one weekend, I know where I got those airchecks I posted
