          Thanks Jonno, good find.

This is new to me, What’s the story ?

Here’s another top of hour that might be a spoof – or just might be real !

Wasn’t it one of those Victor Lewis Smith wonderful spoofs?

I always preferred this REAL spoken ID, from the “needletime-stretching” days of ILR:-

I’ve got a feeling these were produced ‘in house’. The BBC training facility at Wood Norton rings bells for some reason. But this could be completely wrong.

Here’s a better version posted by UKRadioBits which includes the Dot the cleaner jingle which my clip is missing.

These IDs date back from circa 2005 and there is even a “spoof” logo (based on the BBC local radio logo of the time) to go with them:

                  Countyshire-Logo

I think they were produced for some kind of training or conference presentation; maybe somebody will be able to confirm.

Seeing the “Countyshire” pic inserted/linked above – since TinyPic.com closed a few months ago,
can someone suggest a FREE picture server service that can be used in the same/similar way to that?
                      Thanks
