I notice that BBC Radio Suffolk have new IDs, having dropped the Steve England/S2Blue package of 2006
      YouTube clip here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qoAtBmkPWdQ.
Any idea who made the new ones?

Mcasso !!!!!!! as per all the other Beeb locals, Suffolk being one of the last to change … Solent & London being the only ones with alternative imaging @ the mo :)

How depressing. In an old-fashioned kind of way I always wanted my local station to sound, er, local, not prepackaged and like every other one. Ho hum.

BBC Radio Cumbria are also still using their S2Blue jingles, apart from that and Solent & London they’re now all using the same Mcasso branding.

Sadly poorly produced imaging is now one the least of the problems BBC Local Radio face with DQF. I suspect the package is going to be on air a long time.

If you have any views on local radio please let the BBC Trust know:-
