DAS wrote: I notice BBC Berkshire have introduced a new jingle package. It sounds very different and completely new, and am I right in hearing a remix of the generic news theme used by Kent among other stations?

When was the package updated, and who created it? And will it be mirrored in Oxford? Why was the former – and brilliant – package dropped?

(And, naturally, does anyone have any audio? I only spotted the update thanks to RDS driving up the M40…)

I believe that they are from Bespoke Music….

You’re right , the package is by Bespoke and has been made (excuse the pun) “bespoke” for BBC Radio’s Berkshire and Sheffield , who started using it back in November.

It’s different to the David Arnold stuff they’ve had over the years , and certain presenters are unsure how to use re imaging , but it’s effective ,it works , and most of all ,sounds decent on the air ….

You can also get them on the Bespoke website now in an individual cut-by-cut format at http://www.bespokemusic.co.uk.
