Evening folks. Now ive been a collector of Radio 1 jingles since i was in my teens! (just celebrated my 39th birthday) Now an era of jingles missing from time was, Groove Addicts or Groove Worx or Who Did The Music, who i assume was commissioned by Matthew Bannister and Jam was sadly never to grace Radio 1 again (well until Moyles did his thing). Now i know ALOT of you hate what Groove did, and i totally understand why. However a full package seemed to be rare as rocking horse shit, that was until recently. I managed to acquire these and the jingle i requested a few weeks ago. For those who like me really enjoyed the energy of those jingles/sweepers i hope you enjoy my little montage! Listen out for wee Jimmy Krankie saying 97 to 99fm always made me laugh. Something a bit different.

Thanks Nick, lots of new material to me there. Say what you like but these are really clever and actually timeless – they are much better than the current Wise Buddah imaging.
