I was just searching for some information on Radio 1 jingles on Google, and I came across this link to a Radio 1 & 2 page on JAM's website:-

      http://www.jingles.com/jam/collector/bbc.html

Interestingly, as far as I'm aware, the actual page isn't linked to from JAM's main site. The page was produced by JAM in 2007 in recognition of the 40th anniversary of Radio 1 and Radio 2.

Apologies if this page has been previously publicised on JingleMad, but a quick search in the forums didn’t produce anything.

There are several bits of interesting audio and video highlights from JAM's archives to sample, including a video of the vocal session for the 1984 Radio 1 jingle package.

The page is well worth taking a look.

        Glad you liked the page.

There is actually a link to it from the About JAM page, but you're right- it does take a bit of devoted digging to find it.

Following up Jon's link above more thoroughly got me through to a few corners I hadn't deeply explored before…and they're well worth a visit (especially for how HAIRCUTS have …er…”evolved” over the years!) :^)

Sorry to be pedantic Mark (!) but here`s the original post from Jon Wolfert in September 2007 – I still stand by my comment…”BEST WEBPAGE EVER !!!”

No worries Dave; I thought it funny that Jon would create such a wonderful web page and not mention it on JingleMad. I must have had my head in the ground last September to have missed it! :)
