Really sad news – he was so enthusiastic for jingles and everything radio. Listened to him singing jingles many times at our meet-ups.

          RIP Aston.

            Sad sad sad.
Such a wonderfully upbeat guy and owner of one of the raunchiest iJingles we produced.
Such a loss to our community.
            RIP Aston.

So sad to hear about Aston’s passing.

I remember meeting him at the JingleMad meet-ups of the past and being amazed by his big personality and passion for all things jingles and radio.

I will always remember when Aston, together with fellow JingleMaders (including myself), recorded shouts in the passageway to the toilets (for the acoustics!) in the George public house, London during the “JD3 Jingle Day 2005” event.

                RIP Aston.

This is so sad to hear.

Aston was present at the very first JingleMad Meet-up in Leeds and I think if my memory was present at all the following ones.

As Mark has said, a encyclopedic knowledge of jingles & radio in general and memorably, a huge fan of Queen and an attendee of many fan club conventions so his passing will leave a big gap in both areas. He truly will be missed.
