It sounds british sung to me but I’m no expert.

      Any ideas?

      Liam.

      What year was that from??

        I haven’t a clue!!

I found it on an old tape mixed in with other bits ‘n’ bobs.

Could be from LBS – they had a package that aired in the late 80’s on Radio Sheffield before they had the now famous K-Lite Resings….

If not , then I’m not sure …definitely not from the Sue Manning cuts or even before !

I have most of the LBS collectors tapes and this jingle is not on any of them !

Not that you would want to showcase that jingle!

Who ever thought of the line “Stop your self feeling so depresed”

This Jingle would make me want to turn off the radio ! 😥

LBS only ever did a demo for Radio Sheffield, which was never aired (I remember when the demo landed on the Programme Organiser’s desk back in the days when I was working there – very exciting!!). When RS launched, it was with a themetune by Delia Derbyshire of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop (allegedly played on Sheffield cutlery!), followed by a package from Sue Manning Music. This was followed, in the mid 80s, by a custom from David Arnold, then the two K-Lite resing packages, then back to David Arnold again. Today, Radio Sheffield is airing jingles from Bespoke Music.

Where the jingle we’re discussing here is from, however, I have no idea… maybe just another demo or just a one-off cut?
