I have those cuts labelled as 2008…so maybe it was an add on to their custom package at the time?

Right…here we go again with another recreation and this is based on another favourite jingle package of mine, namely Omnitrax from JAM. I remember the first time I heard this besides the WENS (and KMGG?) demo was via Sky Radio. I used to receive this when it broadcast via the Astra Satellite and at the time it was a novelty because all it played was non-stop music. A very nice listen!

Sky Radio ordered some amazing jingles over the years from JAM and Top Format, but Omnitrax is still the standout from all of them in my humble opinion. Anyway…I thought I would marry both the Omnitrax demo and Sky Radio resings into this recreation which I hope you’ll enjoy!

not to mention the rather nice processing that made Sky Radio and the Jam jingles sound so lush (at least compared to much of the audio available via Astra back in the day)

Omnitrax is still the standout from all of them in my humble opinion.

Thanks to everyone who has been listening to the recreations playlist…the Hot KIIS! mock-up in particular seems to getting a lot of listens lately, so thanks to everyone!

Well I have another mock up for your listening pleasure and this time I’ve put a demo on its head. When the Jack FM format originally broke out of Canada…the stations surprised enthusiasts by utilising cuts from “You” from TMCI’s successor – TM Century. A legendary package…and nicely resung and remixed. It’s such a shame that “You” never really received much of a run out in the UK and Ireland…bar the British remake for Beacon.

Anyway…I decided to flip the Jack FM demo on its head and took it back to its roots and feature a TMCI resing for KQEU in Olympia, WA.
