I've got a couple of dubs of those, but likewise
never found the original source! They seemed to be
able to use them no matter what company was their
        “current” contract at any time.

So thats a challenge for someone!

Someone uploaded a mono version of it last year. I'd love a stereo version.

Is this what we're talking about? i.e. the news logo
and slide at the end of this weather/news TOH
            sequence?

That's the remix, I think we're looking for the original that was at the end of the Synchronism weather bed.

I've just uploaded one of the Chiltern news jingles into the “Station Jingles Individual Cuts” section.

Hopefully it's the one you're after and should be available soon once it's approved by the moderator.

Wilco that is the cut I was thinking of. Strange to hear it in stereo and clean. I remeber the “From the mighty Sandy Heath transmitter…” vo. Classic.

Amigo – yes, it's surprising when you hear it in stereo and clean after years of listening to it on MW.

I remember the “Mighty Sandy Heath transmitter..” liner. The one I used to hear was voiced by Mike Baker.
