Pretty much impossible as far as I can tell.

When I contacted Alfasound saying that I was ready to order my resing, Simon responded with “Leave this with me and we’ll check with the vocal arranger and get back to you.”

I don’t know how long it would take, I tried replying to the email but there was no response, and I don’t know if they began scheduling the resing session before I could pay Simon, or if I should’ve told him that I was ordering it for personal use.

If any of you JingleMadders out there know, please tell me.

If its a personal cut / nonbroD

cast etc, then it’s perhaps unlikely that a resing session would be organised for just one budget item

Like Dallas, one would expect a noncommercial item to be piggybacked on to a fuller session for a broadcast client or whatever.

Anecdoctally, having in the past heard “vocals” for e.g station add ons that have been jawdroppingly naff (NOT Alfa I must stress!) It’s always worth patiently waiting for the full shilling.

I’m sure Simon will keep you right :<)

          Hi,

Just wanted to jump in here. First of all apologies for not replying – it’s been a really busy time and I’ve also been on holiday for 2 weeks.

On top of this the main singers and vocal arrangers haven’t been available but do bear with us.

Yes with personal cuts we have to slot them into sessions when we can. Also there is sometimes a lot of digital detection work needed for some of the cuts so all this takes time. If you are working to a specific deadline do let us know and we’ll do what we can to reach it.

On thing to mention (not referring to the above) if anyone is contacting through the website please respond to the email address not the website as that delays things.

          Thanks,

          Si

Not much better at JAM. On Jon’s (JAN’s actually) 50th Anniversary I messaged Jon on the JAM Web-site–“Happy Anniversary”—in view of JAM’s 50th Anniversary, I would like to place an order the following jingle—NOTHING–No response. 2 months ago, I messaged again on the JAM Web-site re-ordering the initial jingle plus a 2nd jingle–STILL Nothing. Now, I don’t expect Jon or anyone else to “Drop Everything” & ask for lyrics, etc–but an “acknowledhgment”/confirmation would be nice. Guess that’s oo much to asdk for “Personal Cuts”, eh?

Same thing – I tried contacting JAM to order a couple of chants for myself, and there was no response.

It’s simple, just go to jingles.com, JAM’s website.

Click on Personal Cuts, scroll down to “Whats the deal?”

                All the instructions are there.

                What does it cost?

                What do you get?

Now it’s “Your next step” that counts.

No, I’m not a mind reader.

                      A “mind-reader”-not–“presumptuous”-yes.
