Alfasound Personal Jingle – but who sings on this cut ?

      I have just added to the download section a classic Alfasound personal cut which had one of the best female singers in the UK, but does anyone know who she is ?

        Hi Martin,

        I’m not 100% sure, but my first thought was that it might be Rachel Ashley, but I’m not sure how long she’s been working with Steve England / Alfasound for… I might be doing her an injustice on the age front!

          Yeah I think we’ve all had her Martin……On our Jingles that is!! 😆

            Hello,

            No it’s not me….FAR FAR too young to ever have worked for alfasound, but my Dad used to comission stuff from them…yes really.

            There were three main girl singers there I believe. Sheila Gott…who I think is your girl in this instance. Jean Barrow and Sue Quinn.

            Sheila and Jean are good pals as we shared the same club agent for a few years and they are from the same town as my good self. Sheila in fact is currently compering at Reddish wmc on greg street Stockport, if you want to listen to her. She really is a wonderful singer and deserves WAY better than a wmc residency, but such is show biz. equally Jean still does the clubs as a solo turn, as did I till having my baby last year. We should of couse be desperately rich and famous but never mind eh?

            None of us works for Steve England, that’s currently a lovely girl called Sarah at the moment, who again worked for Bob Crossland, same club agent as the rest of us. Small world eh? So now you know!!

              First of all thanks for posting on JingleMad,

              When I saw your photo I did think you looked too young to have sung on my Jingle is now about 24 Years old !

              Anyway it’s great that we have had our first ever post from someone who sings on the Jingles and very interesting to how things are from your point of view

              Sorry you have not a millionaire yet !

                24 years ago? Blimey!

                In that case, triple apologies to Rachel for suggesting it might have been her voice.
