Hi gang…
MOST of my audio is packed up in storage in Indianapolis, but I DO have some stuff on the pc with me. Neal’s montage inspired me to throw together a little montage myself. Hard to believe I have never made one before, what with all the OTHER collector’s montages I love to hear!

Enjoy…and lemme know what u think 🙄
September 17, 2004 at 12:19 am #13898AdminSome great stuff there Bud….whats’s with the WNAP cut though?
It could be because I’m drunk, but it sounds a little weird!
September 17, 2004 at 1:31 am #13899TServo2049Oh it is weird, but we owe that to the writing of Dick Hamilton, who wrote the music and lyrics…he was just very innovative, and came up with interesting lyrics…
September 17, 2004 at 4:45 am #13900jkubiakHey that was a great montage. I liked the WNIC cut and the WXXY cut the most. I am going to make one sooner or later. God knows I have enough stuff to make 100 montages.
Great Job.
September 17, 2004 at 8:09 am #13901AdminLoved the Wink 104 cut! WNAP still dosen’t make sense sober!
What package is the Smokey Rivers cut from? I met him last year at Y98 & KEZK. He’s a legend!

It was Afterburner – originally done for WNCI, and later Live 95 WSM-FM.

September 19, 2004 at 8:46 pm #13912ratnobMemberFantastic – love it. Loads and loads here that I haven’t heard before. So Jeffro the Diva’s the on-air nickname, eh?

LOL…noooooooooo! I was just playing with shouts when I put the montage together. Though, maybe I *am* a jingle diva! Hmmm…..

I think you are, Mr Mason! Great montage btw!
September 19, 2004 at 10:06 pm #13916RjMThanks for the montages, I think the second was even better than the first- smothered in JAM!
I loved the WKTI ‘It’s Cold!’ cut from ‘Red Hot’. I think its great when stations use fun lyrics like this.
A few questions if I could?
The 80’s Now.com cut – What package is it from? I know I’ve heard it before, but can’t place it to a package.
Who produced that WENS ‘We let our music do the talking’ package? I believe they were only produced a few years ago despite the classic sound?
Cheers, Rob.

That’s “Hot Buttons” from JAM, a package originally for the late WMAQ/Chicago.

I bet you heard they were running these jingles June ’03. This is true, as I taped them off air! They ran them for ONE weekend, for no apparent reason. But, they were not new.
From what I was told (having worked in the building briefly at WENS), they were the first jingles done for WENS…dating back to 1981-ish. As for the company/package…I am stumped. Maybe someone out there knows???
September 20, 2004 at 4:29 am #13921jkubiakLove the montage!!! You had another cut from Breakthrough which was great! Loved the phillys country cut, but what really struck home was the WLOL cut. I was listening to the station here in Minneapolis when it went off the air in 1991. I should post a WLOL montage it would be really fun. The old WLOL stuff by Jam.
Great Job.
September 21, 2004 at 4:17 am #13924jr2479Great mixes! What are the WKTI and WSTW cuts in the first montage from? I love that KTI cut…great job!

The WKTI cut in Jinglage1 is from a TMCI custom called “House Band.” WSTW is from “Hit After Hit” by JAM, a custom for Q107 (WRQX/Washington).
