For a few weeks now the IQ Beats site has been teasing a new Kiss FM package for a major Clear Channel station. Any guesses for which station this might be? Clear Channel own quite a few Kiss FM stations:

102.7 KIIS FM (Los Angeles) – Reelworld 2004 package is getting used less and less, maybe they’re ready for something fresh.

103.5 Kiss FM (Chicago) – Still running Kiss Dallas 2003 package along with Microjams, may the new boss want some fresh jingles as they battle crosstown rival B96.

106.1 Kiss FM (Dallas) – Did I hear they has signed an exclusive deal with N2 Effects?

Kiss 108 (Boston) – Just got a fresh Reelworld package, so unlikely.

Kiss 107 FM (Cincinnati) – May not be major market enough for another custom package following their Reelworld jingles.

104.7 Kiss FM (Phoenix) – New breakfast show and more non rhythmic songs added to the playlist may mean they need some new imaging and ditch their Reelworld KIIS LA 2004 package.

Interesting, I think it’s KIIS 102.7. The last time I listened to them though they were still loudly and proudly airing there Reelworld 2004 package. This was a year ago though when I was on holiday there, lol

From what I’ve heard of KIIS recently, they’ve only been playing their jingles at the TOTH.

Another Clear Channel Kiss FM station I forgot is:

96.1 Kiss (Pittsburgh) – Haven’t had any jingles for a while so could the time be ripe for something new.

Personally I think it might be Kiss Chicago since the new boss there is the former PD of KIIS during the jingletastic 90s, plus their current imaging is a messy mish mash of old packages and power intros.

The new jingles are now on KISS 103.5FM.
