Have a look at this presenter on the WDRC FM in Bloomfield, Connecticut – he has a lot of fun with PAMS jingles:
August 22, 2010 at 11:01 am #75223mbMemberI loved watching those clips – A real professional who clearly loves what he does and it just shows that showmanship still does work on the radio.
I was thinking there are very few people on UK radio who are as tight as this with music jingles etc here is my list:-
Pat Sharp – Capital
Timmy Mallet – Piccadilly
Paul Carrington – Signal
Cousin Matty – City FMAugust 23, 2010 at 1:23 am #75229teachercreatureWe're all waiting for Topcat to get Rockin Ron's permission to post a montage of the cuts he is using.
August 23, 2010 at 8:21 pm #75238jingle fanYes can't wait. I even tried joining the “Global tuners” site as one JM member suggested but could not find the station. Anybody else have any ideas apart from moving to Hartford!!!

WDRC should be found straight away !August 23, 2010 at 11:30 pm #75242jingle fanMarvelous !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Many thanks Bigdave. So simple when you know how.
August 24, 2010 at 12:42 am #75243jingle fanJust an update. Rockin' Ron's latest “You Tube” has even more Jingles at the start. There's even a guy from Suffolk called Geoff Barton saying how he likes the Jingles and also the music isn't bad…………
August 24, 2010 at 5:34 am #75245ratnobMemberYeah, the songs do tend to get in the way …!

August 24, 2010 at 10:15 am #75247jingle fanThanks Tracy. They really do sound great as does the station. Gold stations in the UK could learn a lot from the style that Ron has in linking the requests/jingles and as Ratnob quite rightly points out the music that gets in the way!!
September 7, 2010 at 10:56 pm #75418topcatHere is a compilation of some of Ron Sedaille's jingles as produced by PAMS, JAM and TM. There are more… so another compilation will be produced down the road…
September 8, 2010 at 10:24 am #75421LenGroatThanks TC
A very versatile collection of ID's, well lyriced and sung, from the 3 best companies… Rockin' Ron Really knows how to 'pick em'!

September 8, 2010 at 12:38 pm #75424GrahamCollinsI've joined Globaltuners and have listened to WDRC-FM. One of these days I'm going to stay up late enough to hear a bit of Ron live, in real time with all the commercials and tunes in full….. From what I can make out only one user at a time can control and listen to a Globaltuner receiver, which could be frustrating
September 8, 2010 at 4:09 pm #75425dianablanton1984MemberThanks for the Rockin' Ron jingle compilation, Tracy! Gladly appreciate that.
September 8, 2010 at 6:31 pm #75427teachercreatureWonderful job Tracy. It was worth the wait. Would be great to hear a montage of some of the other jingles he uses on the “Big D” as well. Again, thanks for posting.

Multiple people can be listening to a receiver at the same time, but if there are others on the receiver, the rules are that you should ask before you tune the radio. If enough jingle fans get on there, there should be no argument

The 2 other things to remember is that there's a secondary free tuner on the site for Conneticut – the reception's a little less defined than the other, but with a bit of tweaking you can get it sounding OK – but also there's around a 5hr time difference between the UK and Hartford,so by the time Ron's part way through his show, many other users around the world (particularly those in Europe) will be in bed!
As John's said below,no doubt that most of us will use our names from here or our actual names as the log in for Global Tuners,so I'm sure most of us will know each other when tuning in!
September 9, 2010 at 5:10 pm #75431GlennaMemberOne of these days (maybe} I'll get to see or hear what you people are talking in this thread.
September 21, 2010 at 5:49 pm #75546WAVAMemberThe pams jingles are nice and Ron runs a tight board but IMHO all the jingles are ott!
