As were heading into the season of sharing, I thought that now would be a good time to share this years selection of personal cuts from iJingles…
Firstly a Christmas cut (as an alternate to Maximum Kiss #23)
TM Studios – MK#23 Alt – James Pearson by CanadaJimNow the primary cut from the same package
TM Studios – MK#23 – James Pearson by CanadaJimWanted a way to go back to the 80’s, so had a resing of Maximum Kiss #15
TM Studios – MK#15 – James Pearson by CanadaJimNow a couple of cuts with far more lyrical content from Kansas City 2000. Originally morning show cuts, they were resung as a weekend cut and a general purpose cut
TM Studios – KC2K #8 – James Pearson by CanadaJimTM Studios – KC2K #9 – James Pearson by CanadaJim
There’s also a couple of 2013 cuts from JAM on my Soundcloud page. Happy Holidays!
Enjoy!

December 7, 2013 at 7:39 pm #92563LenGroatA Great collection of track choices, beautifully sung and love the solos by Kaye!
Also enjoyed your JAM Christmas cut on Soundcloud very much.
Thank you for sharing
December 8, 2013 at 8:06 am #92567professor1036Thanks for sharing Jim…very good!
Liking the Mike Collier solo on the last cut…makes me want to order a cut from the original Klite package!

That’s quite an impressive stack you’ve got there on your SC page and you’ve probably got more jingles for yourself than many radio stations have!
Thanks for sharing them.

I thought you and Nicky were running about neck to neck in the personalised cut stakes Sean?
December 15, 2013 at 2:42 pm #92658mbMemberNot sure if I’ve shared any of these…most have not made it to air yet due to being too busy to upload onto c100 so you are hearing these first!!! 50/50 split JAM / TM but together I think they work really well on C100 and my stationality
I think I enough now for a full demo getting on for 20 cuts for the station!
As always they sound great thanks to the dedication, support and fantastic service from Jon at JAM and Sean at ijingles and the TM Team. I love the service you provide and it is much appreciated to let an aging anorak play radio .December 15, 2013 at 3:03 pm #92659Jim DonahueThe first cut is one of my favorite breakfast show jingles – I remember it being sung for Jackie Brambles on Radio 1.

December 17, 2013 at 10:36 am #92685LenGroatCongratulations MB – memorable jingles that DO something…. and do it very WELL !!
February 7, 2014 at 11:27 am #93200Jim DonahueI wanted to wait until I had enough for a mini montage – here is what the good folks at JAM have done for me over the last few months:
February 7, 2014 at 12:01 pm #93201Tazman1966And very nice too
February 7, 2014 at 12:02 pm #93202MarkSMemberExcellent selection of cuts – brilliant production – thanks for posting!
February 7, 2014 at 1:05 pm #93203LenGroatFather Obv: A great less-obvious choice of tracks!
JAM have really captured the vocal sound of the original on the first cut even though (sadly) they no longer have Chris. K.
And the end chord/ block /harmonies (*whatever you all it) on the second cut (done for Radio 1 in UK) is just classic – raises the hairs on my arms….
* I still don’t quite know what to call this ‘jingle vocal magic’ after 49 years of collecting jingles!
February 7, 2014 at 1:13 pm #93204gameswizardMemberhere is what the good folks at JAM have done for me over the last few months:
Nice selection. I like the (additional) early strings on your “happy happy sound” cut (compared to the Radio 1 version).
February 7, 2014 at 1:15 pm #93205Jim Donahue* I know exactly what you mean Len – this truly is Heaven!
February 7, 2014 at 1:16 pm #93206Jim DonahueYes Mike – I was also surprised and delighted with the additional strings. They really “freshen up” the cut.
February 7, 2014 at 11:45 pm #93224CanadaJimReally like the second cut – I know it as a BBC Radio 1 cut from the mid 70’s (I think) as I’m originally from the UK. Nearly 40 years on, your version still sounds great! Gotta love JAM.
February 8, 2014 at 3:42 am #93227Jim DonahueYou’re right CanadaJim, that cut was from the first JAM package for Radio 1 in 1976.
I think they did a fantastic re-sing for me!February 8, 2014 at 6:28 am #93228ratnobMemberThese are superb, Jim. As others have said, that evocation of jingles we first knew from Radio One and which still sound so fresh is stunning. Many thanks for sharing them.
February 12, 2014 at 9:45 am #93282bossjockMemberThe more I listen to these, the more I start thinking about having another JAM personal cut. It’s all so dangerously addictive!!
February 12, 2014 at 12:24 pm #93292Jim DonahueDo it Bossjock!
February 12, 2014 at 9:52 pm #93304Jeffrey T. MasonMemberI’ve always loved the unique vocal harmonies used in packages like Music Now and Hitradio 2. Something very special about that sound! Hard to explain…
February 13, 2014 at 5:32 pm #93312scotronMemberGreat selection. Really keen to have a PC of that first cut for myself. An old R1 jingle. ‘Where you always hear a Better Sound’
