Never new Someplace Special had WIND/WMJX logo vocals. Thanks again for your great archive work.

To be honest, the vocals in the Nerve FM cut are very poor, I hardly understand what they are singing... I first thought they sung 'You've hit the love, Love FM'... It still is a craft, singing jingles.
  • I concur--when i first heard the lyrics, they sounded unintelligible....

Definitely not one of Alfa Best !

  • It wasn't a good day at Alfa when they produced that vocal track!
What's even more distressing than the vocal..... is 'Nerve FM'! Whatever reason for that name is just not good enough :D

Seems it was, and still is, a student station, so maybe not a very big budget?

Oddly enough, one of the student founders is a name a few JMers and radioland people might well recognise today :)

Small budget or not, I jingle should be comprehensible, that's the whole idea of it :D

It didn't seem to matter on those dreadful Shaun Tilley Seventies Heaven re-sings though! 😖
I was waiting for them to 'sing' WABC....... 😂
