iJingles in August 2021

Hey Everyone,

Since taking ownership of TM Studios late last year, we’ve been asked by many jingle enthusiasts if iJingles will be returning. We’ve been very busy creating new packages and products, meaning that we’ve not been able facilitate personal cuts. However we also realize that some of you are keen to get jingles sung for personal use, and with that in mind…

…we’re reopening iJingles… for one month only.

Throughout August, you can order jingles for personal use, which will be sung and delivered to you in September. Choose from heritage TM packages or more recent jingles, or even get a shout or two. Let us know what jingles you’d like by emailing ijingles@tmstudios.com and we’ll let you know if your preferred cuts are available.

As ever, there are a few guidelines, so here goes…

* These are strictly for personal and internet usage only; no broadcast rights are included.
* If a TM package is digitized and on our studio system, it should be available for resing. We will use a similar vocal group to the original package where possible. So, if you’ve heard it sung for anyone in the last few years, chances are we have it. Some recent packages are unavailable.
* The cost is $350 per jingle, and $95 per shout. Or, order 4 jingles from the same package for $999. This is for jingles up to around 15 seconds; longer cuts and full songs are POA. Payment is via card, and delivery is via wave file download. Supplied mixes include accapellas, but not a full instrumental.
* If your order is received by the end of 31st August, it’ll be delivered by 30th September.

Email ijingles@tmstudios.com for more info. Feel free to include an MP3 of the jingle(s) you’re after; this can be helpful. And tell your jingle friends!

Thanks,

TeaM TM

  • I think someone (e.g. Neal) should put out a "Full Alert" E-Mailing to as many Collectors as possible on this one
(...and dare I say it, even via any "other" mailing lists, such as via MPF?)
  • May I get some help here? LOL!
  • I wonder how far back in time you could get them to go?
    No screeching vocals

Quite a way - we've had orders for packages including Fusion, Phase II and Shockwave, plus of course there's the You package. If the package has been digitized, we're happy to sing it.
  • "Summer of '72" by any chance ?
    Design 70/71 ?
  • Do you happen to have any of the heritage package demos still available for download? I know there were many many demos on a previous version of the TM site but I'm having trouble finding them now. Specifically, I was looking for the Totally Awesome 80s demo, if that's available.

    Thnaks, Terry

Also @TM_Studios - I notice "Talk, News & Sports" has the graphic of "Talk, News & Sport" on this page, but the page text says "Talk, News & Sports":

What is the package officially named, out of curiosity?

Hey Terry! Yes - email us on the address above and we'll zap you the demo.

Depends if you're in Europe or North America :)
  • "Depends if you're in Europe or North America"

    For those puzzled (?) by the idiom, in the UK/Europe, we have "Sport" as a generic;
on the other side of the Pond, they have "Sports".
    :)
  • In the Uk the only sport station is
    Talk Sport
But they talk about every kind of sports so in this instance I think the term Talk Sports is more appropriate

Understood. Many thanks to Iain and Martin for the clarification :)

People have asked if the McKenna cut from Chiltern Radio is available (originally O'Brian In The Morning)... yes it is - here's a version from Yorkshire...

  • Excuse me - I'll be deep in my vaults listening to demos - back soon - I'm now down to about 50 cuts!!! This is HARD work!
  • I wonder how many people took advantage of this offer?
Only 2 days to go before end of the month

    I did! Anyone else?
  • I asked about an item but it "wasn't available for resing"
  • I am just about to send my email - ive sat listening to a "lot" started with about 25 jingles !!!
  • I did and am now looking forward to hearing the reality of what I have had in my head for weeks !
  • Thanks to Chris and the team at TM - My cut has arrived...... it's a jingle I have always wanted (just for my own personal enjoyment more than anything) this was the BBC Radio Derby TOTH Ramp in the early 90s at the time I did some volunteering there. I always loved the brass and the strings in this package. WHDH Boston is the original package.

  • @TonyMullinsRadio Now that's turned out very well indeed! The vocals sound great – well done to the team at TM.

Looking forward to hearing more results from the iJingles August session!
  • Really nice cut Tony - Looking forward to getting my cuts. I literally ordered at the last minute!
  • Sounds Great,
Greg is already working on one of my cuts as he asked me to sing rough of how I wanted it to go !( which is difficult as I can’t sing to save my life !!)
  • Well I got my four cuts. I'm so pleased with them.
    WSB O'Brien In The Morning package cuts: 1 - 4 - 10 - 14
Here they are with lots of 80's style audio compression.

Oh they're good. Love the harmonies.

They sound brilliant Mark :) Thanks for sharing.

  • @markbirmingham I would be really chuffed with those too; they sound brilliant! Thanks for sharing.
  • I got myself a cut from The Alternative.

Love the way that Mark Hanna in the Morning sounds like McKenna in the Morning. You'll have to cut 'n' shut the Chiltern version with yours.

Why ruin good jingles with awful processing?
    Sounds nasty.
