      Of course I couldn’t resist replying with an audio clip of said jingle ;-)

      I’d like to start catching up with the locals’ musical memory. Any chance you could post the said cut?

          Doesn’t quite win the top prize for “clarity & diction of the vocals” though!

          I must assume thats pre-Alfasound era Jonno? Any ideas who by?

            It dates back to the 70s (so pre-Alfasound, yes). I’ve a funny feeling a band – whether big(ish) name or not I don’t recall – recorded it.
            There was also a longer cut which I provide a link to here in case anyone might recognise the ‘sound’..
