Not wishing to cast aspertions…but haven’t there been “allegations” in the past that some of the backing tracks used by Jingles Factory may not exactly have been recorded as “original work” by “their” musicians in “their” studios? I won’t say the word out loud that springs to mind…
The Beeb (or their sub-contracted programme Production Company) would of course have had to obtain clearance to play that bed on the programme from whatever Music Library is responsible for the licensing of it.
Nice little potential can of worms in there…(for JF – and maybe Scilly?)
