Yesterday, a package from JAM arrived – containing the jingles for my new podcast launching next month. But I thought people might like a sneak listen to the jingles here Barras

I must confess the last time I listened to the Hard Rock FM package/demo was in the late 1990s when it was released by JAM, just one of those packages that has slipped through my “jingle listening net”, however, just listened to it again and I think cut #09 is a great choice and what a funky and "fun" bed !

As for Closer To The Music, you cannot really compliment that package any more, as to what`s been written in the past on Jinglemad, loved by UK JAM fans and again, cut #14 is a great choice too – thanks for posting them…

Thanks David! Already picked the cuts I want sung next – more Closer To The Music, I think. (Although I've also got a couple of cuts from Ride The Wave and Northwave in mind – can't imagine they've had loads of resings…)

One bonus (as you've discovered with the extra bit not on the HRFM demo) with ordering these more obscure cuts is hearing the various mixouts for the first time, possibly the only time they've been heard outside of the station that commissioned the package?

Thanks Rob. And yeah, I was expecting Hard Rock FM #9 to be under a minute long, as it is on the demo – it was a delight to find it was nearly two minutes! And good point regarding the mixouts – for instance, you also get a version without the "oh yeah" and record scratch effects, too…

Just a quick note to say that I won't be posting on here any longer – no point going into details, but let's just say I don't agree with the moderation policies on this site. Hey, the owners can run the site how they like, and I doubt I'll be missed!
