Nuflow Jingle Radio – Now Testing . . . .

      Hi,

      Just wanted you to know that the new live(?) Nuflow Jingle Radio (service) is now testing the live stream we have . . .

      Stream reports would be appreciated, but please remember this is only a test (currently “transmitting” items from the March Jingle News Show – though new items will be added during the test).

      Listen isn at http://www.jingleradio.info or http://www.thejinglenetwork.info

      We only have 25 streams running at the moment.

        At approx 10 am today, stream via jingleradio.info was very “stuttered” – folding over itself, and sounded “slowed-down” in pitch.

        Or that might be due to AOL-UK's “exciting” new page format (full of more dross “lifestyle” wasted bandwidth than ever before IMPO) which has already been causing us problems since it was introduced yesterday.

          Thanks for that – it was about 10am that I reset the playlist and that will happen sadly . . . did it suddenly jump back to the jingle contest promo ?

                On both jingleradio.info and jinglenetwork, the streams (in stereo!) were flawless.

                        Hmmmm…. Sounds like they are running a few Jingle Network News items for this month while testing the Nuflow Jingle Radio stream. I happen to think so since I checked The Jingle Network website a few minutes ago…

                        Just to clarify, the podcast items will be included when the full service goes into effect in April, right?

                        Also, when you say that this service goes into effect April 1, I am thinking “April Fools!” (assuming that it won't launch that day, but much later) I DON'T like April Fools jokes!!!

                          Ha yeah we will launch on the 16th- we're no fools . . . !!

                          It is hoped to keep the podcast items and the nuflow items seperate – but there will no doubt be some crossovers beteen the two . . . we'll just see how it pans out. There certainly will be more “features” on the nuflow stream . . . forum gossip, listner submissions (top tens, jingle anecdotes, that kind of thing) – where the podcast is aimed at broadcast pro's, the nuflow is aimed at everyone.

                          Hope that clarifies for you . . . .

                              Dave…I'll take along my Zoom H2 to the forthcoming Radio Academy do in Manchester,as it's all about imaging etc.

                              Guests on the night should include Simon Prentice,Dave Bethell (current writer for Music 4) and a certain C.Stevens esq,amongst others… :-)
