The Jingle Network releases the November edition of The Jingle News Show.

A cold and damp bonfire night can now be turned into one filled with bangs, whizzes and whooshes as we present the hottest ever edition, the biggest bonfire in town, and all at a great price !

We “light up the SKY” with new jingles from Top Format, they kick off the show with fine style as we light the blue touch paper and stand wel back . . . theres no let up as the display then zooms into S2Blue and the JAM Fresh NY resings for Fresh in Skipton, Manx Radio and a great set of Christmas jingles fo Radio Jackie. A great firecracker of a package then follows from Music 4 as we Spin Southwest 2009, Jingles Factory fire off a barrage of colour in all directions with the latest from them, then BANG it's straight into IQ Beats and jingles from 104.6 RTL Berlin, Fun Radio France, Newstalk 1010 Toronto, WZPL and Virgin 999 Capital re-sings, plus KUPL in Portland. Wise Buddah provide plenty of fire and smoke with yet another UK station using the EZ Rock package, this time Isle of Wight Radio sets the scene as we cresend towards the grand finale, but not before we finally hear the BBC Radio Wales themes, all with Wise Buddahs trademark sonic logo. Then as bonfire night draws to a close, TM sends us home smiling, with Star 99.1 Shine FM re-sings, and Kingdom FM re-sings for a Sunderland . . . and as we head out of the gate there's a sign that Christmas is coming, courtesy of Devaweb.

So forget the damp squibs, soggy sparklers and burnt burgers . . . The Jingle News Show presents the best edition ever – it's the one you've been waiting for!

I really enjoyed the mix of jingles in the edition David. My particular favourites were:

Fresh Radio UK from JAM/S2 Blue sounds great, I really liked these. The UK soloist is a great match compared to the original. Am I right in thinking that these use the original JAM demo “Fresh” sing, with the “sound of the dales” part being the UK soloist? I hope to see these appear on s2blue.com soon.
Isle Of Wight Radio A nice change to hear a current package using different lyrics on each cut.
Radio Jackie Christmas cuts, great to finally hear some new sung jingles for Jackie, who seem to only have one sung jingle after the news, and that's one re-used from their pirate days.

Love the Fresh package, this is a great resing and nice to hear in the UK. The Wise Buddah vocals get better and better – Far outshines IQ Beats.

Agree about the vocals on the Fresh package, but wouldn't they have sounded better as “Sound of the Dales” rather than the more clunky “THE Sound of the Dales” – 4 syllables better than 5?

Some great audio on the show. Thank you!

Excellent podcast David & team :) The FRESH resings are credible, the use of the original spoken “FRESH” does the trick there in the fix, the UK vocalist has it just right.

Who's the voice from S2Blue ? That's quite an accent there ! Certainly not Mr England :) I went to their site to finally hear the BBC Radio Suffolk package only to find it still does not work :(

Sky Radio jingles, excellent have always liked those. And all in all a really good podcast & wow what a length too :)

                Many thanks !

Thanks to everyone for the comments . . . the voice you ask about will be Novelle, he's a Filipino chap that has a radio web site at http://www.radiojingles.co.nr and like all Filipinos he's very likeable.

The length of the podcast could have gone on for another 20 minutes . . . I had a painful time deciding what to leave out and yes, some of the JAM/S2Blue Fresh cuts were left out too . . .

                  Thanks again.

Very entertaining; almost as long as “Desperate Housewives”. :-)
Some advertising and you would be able to record a one hour show, David.

There is a lot of work in this podcast; j'adore!

                      THANKS

I enjoyed the Podcast but thought the 'Spin South West' (?) cuts were badly sung, mixed, and too full of echo.

YES I know I've made this criticism before but WHY do 'contemporary' packages HAVE to have just a screechy female?

                      WHO decided this 'fashion' ?

It was basically the same 'station name' vocal on EVERY cut and nearly all the lyrics were inaudible.

Thanks to David and the team for the HUGE bonfire edition !

I know, I`m being predictable here (as the eternal JAM fan) but I loved the Fresh sings – they sound perfect to me.

Co-incidentally, the last time I saw Skipton mentioned in a post on Jinglemad was about the station song by Tanner for BBC Radio York.

                        Good Time Oldie

                          WOW, What a whopper!!!

My moto has always been “if you're gonna have one, have a big one” (he says, blowing his own, er, trumpet).

David, I really enjoyed this month's bonfire podcast, plenty of jingles that “sparkle”, with only a couple of “Hot Potatoes” that failed to take off and need approaching again (following health and safety regulations of course).

I too thought the Fresh resings were cool, but where did the station get the money for a jingle package?. It was only a little while back that the Presenters were moaning about not being paid and the station was rumoured to be folding/being sold (delete appropiately), how things change eh!.

Thanks David and the team for another great edition, brilliant listening as always.
