Apologies if this site has already been mentioned, but I just stumbled onto this great site:

It's chock full of history & such, but more importantly, it has great scoped and unscoped airchecks and good quality in-the-clear jingles from Heller, PAMS, TM, Tuesday Productions and JAM.

Both FM variations of the legal id jingles are great. I think the one has been talked about here before…where they split the AM and FM programming for only the ten seconds required to do the legal id jingle…and then they rejoined seamlessly. The second FM legal (from 1992) is another great variation of the same top-of-hour jingle that the AM was playing.

IMHO, both show the genius of Jon and the fine folks at JAM. They get an FM suffix and an additional city (in this case, Huntington, the FM's city of license) into the same jingle as the AM. The thing is…it sounds perfect! Not rushed or half-a**ed in any way! Total quality and musical imagination!

Ahhh…the World Famous WOWO Fire Escape!

I've said it before, but I just love the way “Fort Wayne” is sung on this resing of Nothing but Class. I've never lived there, never even been there – hell, I've never been to America – but something about it just seems magical. Weird how some jingles just hit you for no apparent reason…
