Polish collector Wojciech Witkowski has been in touch to ask who made these jingles? I have to say my knowledge of Polish jingles is a little limited, but I rather like the sound.
Any ideas?

(It's an anagram, not a physiological description)June 12, 2009 at 8:26 pm #67627m_hodgeyMemberGeoff, those cuts are from a custom package for RMF FM by IQ Beats (produced through IQ Beats' European agent Music & Images in the Netherlands). See http://www.musicandimages.nl/gb/jingles/new-packages for the demo. The package is also on the IQ Beats website, where you can download the demo as an mp3 and/or play all the main cuts individually in the listening room.
I remember RMF FM had some great sounding Groove Addicts jingles in the late 90's such as this one which I featured on one of my early JingleMad JingleMix CD's:http://jinglemad.com/e107_files/public/1244838239_52_FT72224_103_-_radio-rmf.mp3 filename:103_-_radio-rmf.mp3
Incidentally, there's plenty of RMF FM jingles on You Tube such as this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D6-T82FWw90&NR=1
Hope that helps.
June 12, 2009 at 9:06 pm #67629PaulI don't think they're from IQ. You can listen to the demo here – http://www.jinglenews.com/2008/09/03/iqs-rmf-fm-custom/
They sound like some from Groove Addicts. Maybe something from that package they had in the late 90's?
June 12, 2009 at 9:18 pm #67630ratnobMemberAuthorWojciech describes RMF FM as the first nation-wide, licenced commercial radiostation after the fall of communism in Poland, so I would have thought they pre-date IQ Beats and are more likely to be Groove Addicts. But I'm not very familiar with most of their stuff.
He's pointed me towards this site saying “the web page is in polish but you'll easily find links to mp3 files on it”:
June 12, 2009 at 9:36 pm #67633m_hodgeyMemberI think I replied to this thread too hastily without listening to the cuts carefully. Yep, they're not the IQ Beats cuts so I would also suggest they are by Groove Addicts. According to the following Polish forum, the association between RMF FM and Groove Addicts lasted until 2003:
There is some interesting talk on there about how much the Groove Addicts cuts cost.
Not the jingles in question, but there are RMF jingles on the following sites:
http://www.studiospot.com.pl
http://www.nld.com.pl/2_1.htmThese production houses did the RMF jingles from 2003 until 2008 when the IQ Beats package launched.
Thanks for posting the link to the cuts Geoff.

This cut is definitely Groove Addicts as it features in the foreign language montage on the Radio Capabilities 94/95 demo CD by Who Did That Music?
June 13, 2009 at 12:29 am #67638DevawebMemberTM did a large custom for RMF in association with NLD in (I think) 2005… something crazy like 50 cuts. They sounded great too; I'll try to dig them out sometime.
June 13, 2009 at 1:51 pm #67654MarcMannetjeThey 'wink' to 'bespoke' in the demo intro, and the demo ends with 'from IQ Beats'. I'm confused!
I was in Krakow last winter and heard the station everywhere, from cabs to pubs, sounded really great.
June 13, 2009 at 2:43 pm #67656ratnobMemberAuthorYes, my first thoughts were Bespoke, but I'm still inclined to assume Groove Addicts
March 18, 2010 at 8:55 pm #73077m_hodgeyMemberJust found this web site with over 250 RMF-FM jingles to download:
http://netfm.strefa.pl/download/jingle.php
Just thought I would share the link.
March 18, 2010 at 8:58 pm #73079ratnobMemberAuthorGosh. Well for those into Polish radio jingles, our cup runneth over
March 18, 2010 at 10:16 pm #73082IainJohnstonMemberNot quite sure why, but when accessing their page I got shunted to an Australian commercial jingle producer page (Voodoo) – but never trust a webpage where supposed “professionals” cannot spell simple English words correctly (or are incapable of running a spelling checker on their “finished work”!)
March 18, 2010 at 10:26 pm #73083RjMRMF FM seem to have had some great packages over the years, I particularly like the work Groove Addicts did for them. Thanks for this new link Mark, plenty there to discover. (The link works fine for me Wixy)
One thing I like with RMF jingles is that whatever the package, or production company there seems to be a very strong “RMF-FM” music logo.
March 18, 2010 at 10:44 pm #73086m_hodgeyMemberRob, you have summed up my thoughts regarding the RMF packages exactly. Like you, my favourite RMF jingles are the from Groove Addicts packages from the mid-late 1990’s.
I also agree with you about the strong RMF music logo. It is worth pointing out that the Top Format “Perfect Harmony” package for Harmony FM in Germany features this logo: http://www.topformat.nl/jingles/?packageid=153
May 30, 2010 at 6:41 am #74120whodidthatmusicTill the end of the year 2003 RMF FM jingles were produced by Groove Addicts. Jingles made for RMF FM between years 2004 and 2010 were produced by: Studio Spot, Nieustraszeni Lowcy Dzwiekow, KillerTracks and TM Century. In my opinion those from Groove Addicts are the best. Many of those you can find at my Youtube channel:

Enjoy!May 26, 2012 at 9:31 pm #84322m_hodgeyMemberI thought it would be appropriate to add to this thread, a montage of RMF-FM Groove Addicts jingles that I’ve recently put together and uploaded to Soundcloud:
RMF FM (Krakow, Poland) – Groove Addicts Jingles Montage by m_hodgey
Enjoy! Still looking for the full packages…….
