I've just been listening to Emma Forbes' new Sunday morning show on Radio 2 and noticed she has her own sung jingle (attached).

I'm guessing it is another re-sing by Wise Buddah, but can anyone confirm this for me?

Thinking about it Fred thats a Groove Jingles (Groove Addicts) cut … Having noticed the very “particular” arrangements with soloists, singers and production houses I'm not so sure Wise Buddah could just re-sing over the Groove backing beds ? It might depend on the licencing deal R2 got, if they brought out the rights etc to the Groove tracks then maybe Wise Buddah could resing them .. Or any other jingle producer for that matter ! 'tis a mystery …

A slight deviation of subject, that cut and a few others had 30 second ramp versions in the main package from waaaaay back … Shame R2 never used these and numerous other cuts from that original package.

From what I can work out, they have done already with jingles for Paul O'Grady and Elaine Paige (go to http://www.jinglemad.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?70452.0#post_70523 to see earlier discussions on the subject).

That's why I wanted to make sure – I find it very confusing that they could just sing over the existing tracks, but the impression I got from the discussion linked to above was just that!

It would be interesting to who is resinging the jingles? Groove never seem to update their website..

There were three resings done Zoe Ball, Emma Forbes and Lisa Tarbuck. They are Wise Budda vocals over Groove Addicts tracks.

Thanks for this information, Michael. Interesting that Zoe was still using voice-over jingles on Saturday morning then; maybe she'll start using them after she's learnt how to use the desk, which she mentioned this week.

The Paul O Grady short theme and name check with The Avengers style is very good ..but who made that..
