After their custom package in 2002, KYGO Denver just this morning aired their new custom package from none other than ReelWorld, the leader in Country jingle imaging!
Discuss now!
I'll get us started. The package will be on the RW site as early as next week.
December 2, 2008 at 7:05 am #63813GlennaMemberNah; I'll stick with TM.
December 3, 2008 at 12:44 pm #63847JingleMadMemberAuthorThe package is sung with the KNCI vocal group, or the WQDR vocal group. Same group sing though.
December 3, 2008 at 6:36 pm #63852MarcMannetjeI find Mile High the best package ever for KYGO. The cuts were reproduced for a Dutch station in 1992. The steel guitars were replaced by rock guitars and a brass section was added.
I posted some cuts a year ago, but these are still nice to hear: KYGO country jingles resung and reproduced for Classic Hits-format!

December 3, 2008 at 8:11 pm #63855GlennaMemberJam's New Tradition was great too.
December 3, 2008 at 9:55 pm #63856JingleMadMemberAuthorBeaver and Mark, if you want to start a thread on Jam jingles for KYGO, Then go ahead and do so.
This is the thread to discuss the newest KYGO jingles, not the Jam customs.
So, I heard a lot of new jingles on air recently, even the 4 Toh cuts.
Seems to me that KYGO are already using the new jingles very well!
December 3, 2008 at 9:57 pm #63858ratnobMemberYep, I get nostalgic for those great JAM KYGO cuts – including that lovely solo in the middle of the JAM song (“Continuous country …KYGO”). Class.
December 3, 2008 at 10:00 pm #63859GlennaMemberOh well.
The only reason you like RW is because the lead singer sounds like she's having a orgasism.December 3, 2008 at 10:21 pm #63864JingleMadMemberAuthorNah… I don't think so. I like them because the station can choose between Male, Fee-male, The KNCI group, or the WQDR vocal group once the new package goes live on the RW website.
Guess you never heard of KYGO before. They had 2 packages from ReelWorld. One in 1998 and one in 2002.
Please edit your post Beaver My mom does not like you saying such a thing.
December 4, 2008 at 12:42 am #63866JingleMadMemberAuthorOK now. I hope that this thread can stay family friendly, instead of that werd Beaver said in an earlyer post.
“IT's my country!” is the new slogan that ReelWorld sung for KYGO as well as “Denver's #1 for new country”. I'm now hearing there webstream and they sure are using all 9 themes as well as the weather bed. They still don't play the sepret 2-punch tagout, which is a shame.
Just for the record, Dave Smith is the Male voice you will hear in the new package.
December 4, 2008 at 12:47 am #63867GlennaMemberMale or female.
Every jingle company offers that.
Just my opinion but their jingles lack depth and sound the same.December 4, 2008 at 5:11 am #63873jr2479Wow. I loved the first two KYGO packages and the KNCI package, but I just heard a cut on the webstream with the solo female vocal. Ouch!
Hopefully the rest of the package is better than this.
December 4, 2008 at 10:21 pm #63890JingleMadMemberAuthorI Don't think so.
Just got werd from Mike 3 days ago that when KYGO 08 day-bues, all you'll hear is the fee-male voice.
Sorry to dissapoint.
December 5, 2008 at 12:34 am #63891coolntKYGO jingles from JAM — they're the greatest!
December 12, 2008 at 6:30 pm #64019JingleMadMemberAuthorWell, today should be the day that ReelWorld will release KYGO 08.
Thoughts?
Note: Getting this thread back on topic.
December 12, 2008 at 8:20 pm #64022GlennaMemberNo thanks!
December 12, 2008 at 9:37 pm #64024JingleMadMemberAuthorNot on site yet.
We shall see by the end of the day if RW will release the package.
Not to good yet but again, we shall see.

So what ever happened to this package?
February 8, 2009 at 1:05 am #64979MidwestPSeems like most Reelworld packages nowadays are all about style over substance. It lacks the charm the older packages had. Their country packages which they put out over the last two years (KILT and KNCI) are a bit more tolerable than ONE and some others. I'm sure they are a few good packages other than those two (that they put out recently), but I can't think of them right now.
February 11, 2009 at 1:34 am #65030JingleMadMemberAuthorDelayed . the package is still being discussed by Reelworld on whether to put the package up as a Male or Fee-male version.
February 11, 2009 at 6:04 am #65032kolossMemberDuring this lively debate about Reelworld, this seems like a good place to ask this without sounding too mean;
I do like Reelworld jingles, though a most of the logo melodies are painfully similiar, some rifts seem over-used, though some became legendary(WLIT) They seem to be using real musical instruments, always a plus-But why do all the Reelworld girl singers sound out of breath at the end of every phrase? gasping almost… perhaps not enough air in the studio… maybe I'm too old to know thats just their 'style'
By contrast, I've never heard even extremly uptempo jingle from Jam(for example) to have this gasp for air after every phrase.
Has anyone else noticed this?
Maybe I answered my own question (I'm too old lol) Here is a montage- (not mine – unknown whom to credit) thats pretty good.http://jinglemad.com/e107_files/public/1234332203_5465_FT67541_reelworld_montage128.mp3 filename:reelworld_montage128.mp3
February 11, 2009 at 12:57 pm #65036JingleMadMemberAuthorThat's their own stile Colis. ReelWorld does that for effect.
February 11, 2009 at 3:14 pm #65037GlennaMemberIts the sound sexy effect.
It gets guys to listen.February 11, 2009 at 3:21 pm #65038Adminkoloss wrote: Here is a montage- (not mine – unknown whom to credit) thats pretty good
Wow, that's one of my montages from a couple of years ago. Forgot I made that!
February 11, 2009 at 6:25 pm #65039LenGroatI got through just 2 minutes of the Reelworld compilation posted above
I could not decipher one set of call letters
I could not understand the place name the singers were screeching
I found the vocal sound/style highly irritant
Above ALL else jingles HAVE to communicate information CLEARLY ~ these don't ~ I switched off the compilation.
