A very nice commercial! I love the melody. The “spirit” of that era brings a lot of nostalgia as well (even if I was very young at that time). Where are those good years gone?

WTAE-AM (also a Hearst station) in Pittsburgh ran the same thing around the same time. Replace “Baltimore” with “Pittsburgh” and you've got it.

Hi,
I know, this is an ANCIENT thread. But I’m also looking for TM’s Spirit of Baltimore Jingle Package. There’s one part that I’m ESPECIALLY looking for! Talk show host Allan Prell used to use it for the beginning of his show. Although I was quite young when his show was on WBAL, boy did I LOVE that show, I sincerely wish I could find more archives and airchecks of him out there, he was one-of-a-kind, so if anyone’s listening out there, feel free to pass along my request… Anyway, the intro he used was a jazzy type of version of the Spirit Of Baltimore jingle.
