Andi, Forth One started doing the same several weeks ago, with the “Scottish” v/o replacing the very whiney English ones. Their few already-extremely-tired sung jingles have also gone – have NS1 done that too?

I'm thinking its either cost-cutting by Bauer or there might be a company-wide new sung packge in the offing (c.f. the “Heart” debates here and on other Forums).

I'll have to listen onlien to other stations.

The jingles are still being used on Northsound One at the minute.

My office is a virgin radio zone unless i get in first and put on Northsound One or Waves Radio!

South Westsound FM have done the same. BUT, during the night (7pm-6am) it changes from “South Westsound FM” to “West FM and Westsound”, even though the show's not on Westsound… Some well thought-out imaging going on here!!

the new scottish 7pm to 1am networking doenst seem to work great either – three times now in Aberdeen I have been told “i love the music it plays – more of the songs you love 102.5 clyde 1”

I C & have quite a few WESTSOUND jingles, but sadly no WEST FM ones…any ideas why?

Trauts,check the iq beats website.They may still have the West FM jingles from a few years back (WKTU resings).
